Reviewof Old Movie-- The Royal Tenenbaums

I finally clicked with Wes Anderson movies at the Grand Budapest

Hotel and thought to look again at his work starting with whatever

Cleveland Public Library could quickly scrape up--TRT Not every

character is totally likable, but every character has a fault with

which I easily identify. Cast is superb but the film itself takes first

place--Anderson's characteristic cuts and portraits and points of

view (polka-dotted mouse crossing a rug), zooming in or out--I

loved it all as fresh, and the story--well--redeeming. Hackman is

magnificent--everybody else sufficient.
