A three part history of science based documentary about the development of modern measurement of length, time, weight, heat, light, and electricity in conjunction with the metric system and its reduction from unreliable material standards to standards based on well-defined physical properties. Minimal repetition of film clips but there's still
that damned halo at the center of the images.
